Choosing the equipment

If you havent' played for a long time, like more than 5 years, then it's likely that the last racket you used is no longer useable. So the challenge would be to either buy a whole new set or just replace the old rubbers. Most of the time, if you invested in a good blade before that you liked, you should re-use the same blade. Most quality blades get better over time (like wine), unless it gets damaged or abused.
